In Washington, we are blessed to have many natural wonders just a few miles from our doorstep. An afternoon's drive brought me to the foothills of the Olympic Forest off of Hood Canal in Western Washington. While driving up the very scenic road in the Hamma Hamma drainage, I came across a cluster of white Pine Butterflies.
